Sara Brand

Doctor Sara Brand is the Founding General Partner at True Wealth Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Austin, Texas. She earned a doctorate and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, plus a Bachelor of Science from UT Austin, achieving a perfect grade point average across all three of her academic degrees. Before launching her current venture capital fund, she worked as a Senior Advisor for Health Internet of Things at the UT Dell Medical School. Her investment strategy focuses exclusively on providing early-stage capital to women-led startups developing innovative solutions within the health technology and green technology sectors. She currently serves as a board director for portfolio companies like UnaliWear, Dermala, Queen of Raw, and De Oro Devices, and was a founding investor in the Rising Tide Portfolia Fund.
