Sara Rywe

Sara Rywe is a Partner at byFounders, an early-stage venture capital firm, and is currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Before her promotion to Partner in early 2024, she served as an Investment Director at the firm from 2020 to 2023, following earlier operational roles at Nordic Makers and as a management consultant at BCG. She holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and has successfully executed over 20 investments as a lead or co-lead investor. Her investment portfolio includes backing companies from pre-seed to Series A across the Nordics and DACH regions, with notable involvement in the unicorn fintech startup Pleo. After recently leading a new climate tech investment in the first quarter of 2025, Rywe maintains her primary focus on funding scalable B2B software, fintech, and climate technology startups.
