Santiago Padilla

Santiago Padilla currently serves as a Partner at Xochi Ventures, directing early-stage venture capital investments into technology companies operating across Latin America. Prior to his career in venture capital, he gained operational experience as the Director of Business Operations at Samsara and worked at Walmart Labs. He also previously held a leadership position as Chief at Corta Camino and completed his Master of Business Administration degree between 2013 and 2015. Through his work at Xochi Ventures, Padilla supports a diverse portfolio of regional startups, backing recognizable entities such as Bitso, Camino Financial, and Cerby. In addition to his institutional work, he acts as an independent angel investor, notably participating in the $2 million seed funding round for Spakio in June 2023. His professional focus remains centered on scaling early-stage enterprises within the financial technology, e-commerce, and logistics sectors.
