Santiago Murtagh is the Managing Director of The Yield Lab LATAM, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In this capacity, he oversees pre-seed to Series A investments across the Latin American agrifoodtech sector, targeting regional startups focused on sustainable farming, food security, and supply chain efficiency. Working alongside partners like Tomás Peña and Kieran Gartlan, Murtagh manages a growing portfolio that includes agricultural technology companies such as Agron, Verde, Vytelle, and Ecofiltro. The firm, which operates as part of the global The Yield Lab network, was established in 2017 and recently raised a $50 million Opportunity Fund to expand its regional footprint across Brazil, Mexico, and Chile. Murtagh currently focuses on deploying this capital into clean technology and farm-to-fork innovations that address critical agricultural challenges throughout the broader Latin American market.
