Santiago Dañino Beck

Santiago Dañino Beck is the New York-based Partner and Head of Latin America at Picus Capital. Appointed in 2022, he oversees regional early-stage technology investments and provides portfolio support for more than twenty companies across diverse sectors including finance, healthcare, and renewable energy. Previously, he served as a Vice President on the firmwide management team at DE Shaw and led strategy and business operations at Splice during its Series B through Series D rounds. Earlier in his career, he worked in strategy and analysis at Spotify and held multiple investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs, including Chief of Staff to the President and Chief Operating Officer. Equipped with degrees from Harvard College and Harvard Business School, he currently focuses on scaling high-growth startups and managing early-stage venture capital investments throughout the Latin American market.
