Sanjiv Kalevar

Sanjiv Kalevar is a Boston-based venture capital investor who most recently served as a Partner at OpenView Venture Partners. Prior to joining OpenView in November 2020 to deploy capital from its Fund VI, he spent seven years at Battery Ventures, ultimately rising to the position of Principal. During his tenure at Battery Ventures, Kalevar built a portfolio of high-growth software companies, backing unicorns such as ServiceTitan and InVision, alongside AuditBoard and MX. He also held board positions at Mews and Newforma, and previously gained early investment experience at Bessemer Venture Partners and Hyde Park Angels in Chicago. Kalevar departed OpenView amid the firm's recent operational changes and halt in new investments. His career focus centers on expansion-stage business software and SaaS companies driving digital transformation across antiquated industries through data services, FinTech, and IoT solutions.
