Sanjay Guruprasad

Sanjay Guruprasad is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rune, a technology company operating at the intersection of gaming and social networks. Before establishing his current venture, he served as the Chief Technology Officer at Softrade Pvt Ltd, where he directed early software engineering and development initiatives. Guruprasad completed his undergraduate education at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, earning a bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics. He subsequently pursued graduate studies at the MIT Media Lab and later enrolled in a doctoral program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to research network effects. He ultimately left his PhD program prior to completion to launch Rune and commercialize his academic research interests.
