Sandy Khaund is the Managing Partner at Construct Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Before transitioning to venture capital, he co-founded and led the marketplace startup Gemvara through its acquisition by Mondevco. He also previously held corporate product and strategy roles at Akamai Technologies and Gartner. Khaund holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. At Construct Capital, he recently helped raise a $100 million second fund in 2023 to back seed and Series A startups, building a portfolio of over 20 companies that includes the 2022 DataRobot IPO. In addition to serving as an advisor for the Greylock Discovery Fund since 2024, his current investment focus centers on B2B enterprise software, cybersecurity, developer tools, and infrastructure.
