Sander van Woerden

Sander van Woerden is a Founding Partner at Lexar Partners, a private equity firm he co-founded in 2022 to target the European lower mid-market. With over eighteen years of professional investment experience beginning in 2007, he previously spent a decade at Foreman Capital, serving his final five years there as a partner. Earlier in his financial career, he worked as an investor at NIBC Capital Partners, an institution which later became Avedon, following his initial professional stages in corporate strategy consultancy. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Economics alongside a Master of Science in Financial Law. Today, van Woerden focuses on executing hands-on investments from acquisition to exit in fast-growing, digitally native software and IT services companies within the Dutch lower mid-market generating between €0 and €5 million in EBITDA.
