Sandeep Farias

Sandeep Farias is the Founder and Managing Partner of Elevar Equity and the Co-founder of EPIC World, based in India. Since establishing Elevar Equity in 2008, he has directed the firm's investment strategy across India, Mexico, and the United States, scaling more than 50 early-stage companies. His portfolio targets underserved communities by providing microfinance, education, healthcare, and agricultural services, ultimately reaching an estimated 50 million entrepreneurial households. Prior to his current roles, Farias established the Indian operations for Unitus in 2004 and previously led the corporate law practice at the NDA law firm. He holds degrees in law and arts from the National Law School of India University. Farias leverages over 25 years of experience in emerging markets investing, governance, and corporate law to pioneer commercial capital solutions for low-income populations across Latin America and Asia.
