Samy Chiba

Samy Chiba is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Bujeti, a corporate cards and expense management platform based in Lagos, Nigeria. He established the fintech company in 2021 alongside co-founder Achille Arouko to streamline financial operations and spending for African businesses. The startup, which currently operates with a dedicated team of ten employees, has notable ties to prominent industry entities including Y Combinator and Paystack. Prior to his current entrepreneurial venture, Chiba served as the Chief Executive Officer of SmartSoft Europe and spent two years working at the aerospace enterprise Ariane Group. He holds two Master of Science degrees in Business Administration, providing a formal academic foundation for his executive leadership roles. His current focus centers on ensuring regulatory compliance and scaling operational infrastructure within the rapidly growing African financial technology sector.
