Samy Boccara

Samy Boccara is a co-founder, Partner, and Head of Business Development at Bloom8, a specialized venture capital firm based in New York, United States. Founded in 2018 and formerly known as RAGE Capital, the investment firm operates dual offices in New York and Singapore to deploy capital across the expansive $9 trillion global food ecosystem. Prior to establishing the venture firm alongside Founding Managing Partner Alexandre Ruimy and Managing Partner Brandon Chong, Boccara led corporate sustainability initiatives at the contemporary fashion brand BA&SH. He also brings early sector experience connected to the Joël Robuchon group, which informs his current investment strategy targeting alternative proteins, precision fermentation, cellular agriculture, and restaurant technologies. Boccara currently focuses on accelerating early-stage food technology startups, leveraging his operational background to scale next-generation ingredient platforms and sustainable global supply chain solutions.
