Samuel Smeys is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Spott, an emerging technology company focused on building data-driven recruitment and talent matching solutions. Prior to his current venture, he worked as a technical specialist at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he developed machine learning and data pipelines customized and specifically tailored for global recruitment agencies. During his tenure at BCG, Smeys managed complex backend systems, DevOps, and data infrastructure for corporate clients operating across the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union. He holds a Master's degree in Mathematical Statistics from the London School of Economics (LSE), providing the rigorous quantitative foundation for his applied software engineering work. Smeys currently focuses on integrating advanced machine learning operations and scalable data architecture to optimize modern staffing models and talent acquisition platforms across multiple industries.
