Samuel Larivière

Samuel Larivière is the Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Boreal Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on the Canadian technology sector. Joining the firm during its 2021 fund launch, he oversees deal structuring, investor relations, and fund operations while supporting portfolio growth. Previously, he led operations for Valsoft's fintech venture, ValPay, where he scaled the team from five to 25 employees across more than 10 countries and helped generate tens of millions in annual profit. Earlier in his career, Larivière managed diverse client portfolios at KPMG and advised on mergers and acquisitions integration within the Value Creation Services group at Deloitte. As a Certified Public Accountant holding a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from HEC Montréal, Larivière focuses his current efforts on venture fund management, fintech operations, and scaling early-stage technology investments.
