Samuel Harrison

Samuel Harrison is the Founding and Managing Partner at Faction VC, while also serving as a Venture Partner at Blockchain.com and a Senior Advisor at Lightspeed Venture Partners. In 2023, he launched Faction VC and successfully raised over $250 million for the firm's debut early-stage blockchain venture fund. Previously, Harrison worked as an Investment Principal at Prosus Ventures, where he led $200 million in early-stage investments, and held earlier positions at Morgan Stanley and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Throughout his career, he has deployed more than $500 million into technology companies, backing prominent entities such as Aave, Arbitrum, NEAR, and SimilarWeb, alongside holding a board seat at Wintermute. His current investment focus centers on pre-seed through Series B stages within the Web3, fintech, and artificial intelligence sectors, prioritizing blockchain applications with distinct technological utility.
