Samuel Beyer

Samuel Beyer is an Investor at General Catalyst, where he focuses on driving the firm's early-stage venture capital business across the European market. Prior to his current role, he executed early-stage investments at La Famiglia, a pure-play seed fund, and spent his early career building the commercial foundation of an early-stage technology venture alongside its founders. He holds two master's degrees from the University of St. Gallen. In his investment capacity, Beyer recently participated in a €4 million seed funding round for Emidat in the summer of 2024, supporting their efforts to decarbonize the built environment. Beyer is additionally involved with European energy and infrastructure portfolio companies such as encentive. His current focus centers on partnering with European founders at the inception stage to build scalable enterprises based on unique market perspectives and strong execution.
