Sami Inkinen

Sami Inkinen is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Virta Health, a metabolic disease reversal company based in San Francisco. Before launching his current healthcare venture, he co-founded the online real estate marketplace Trulia, which completed an initial public offering and was subsequently acquired by Zillow Group. His early corporate career included business development and strategy roles at Microsoft, Nokia, and McKinsey & Company. Prior to entering the technology sector, he earned a Master's degree in Engineering and briefly worked as a radio chemist at a nuclear power plant. Under his executive leadership, Virta Health generates over $100 million in annual revenue while serving over 100,000 members through partnerships with 500 large employers and health plans. Inkinen currently focuses on integrating artificial intelligence and longitudinal biomarker datasets to scale clinical therapies for reversing Type 2 diabetes and obesity.
