Sami Ahmad

Sami Ahmad is a General Partner at B Capital Group based in New York, where he leads strategic minority and control investments in technology and tech-enabled services companies. Prior to his current role, he served as Co-Head of Private Technology Opportunities and Private Equity Co-Investment Partners within the External Investing Group at Goldman Sachs. He previously worked as a senior member leading private investments at Viking Global Investors, following earlier financial sector roles at J.P. Morgan and Salomon Smith Barney. Over his 20-year career in alternative assets, Ahmad has directed institutional capital into early and growth-stage enterprises, securing board roles and backing notable companies such as Odeko, Synack, Extend, Rapyd, and Fountain. His current investment mandate centers on identifying, funding, and scaling emerging artificial intelligence and enterprise technology platforms across the broader Americas market.
