Samantha Tabone

Samantha Tabone is a General Partner at XEIA Venture Partners based in San Francisco, California. She helps manage the firm's active second fund, which has invested in 27 early-stage companies across the life sciences, biotechnology, and deep technology sectors. Tabone works closely with portfolio companies such as Xylo Bio, where she actively supports a target-based drug discovery campaign for major depressive disorder that began in 2021 and is scheduled to enter clinical trials in 2026. Alongside XEIA co-founder Brom Rector, she co-hosts the Human 3 Podcast to analyze venture investments in human health and longevity, recently covering public market equities like Hims & Hers Health. Formally trained in chemistry and central nervous system pharmacology, Tabone focuses her current investment strategy on advancing translational science and innovative therapeutics, specifically targeting epigenetic modulation and novel RNA-based modalities.
