Sam Kentor

Sam Kentor is a Partner and Investment Committee member at the venture capital firm Brighton Park Capital, as well as a Director at Relatient, Inc. Prior to his current roles, he served as a Principal and founding member at Elsewhere Partners and held specialized enterprise software investing positions at JMI Equity. He began his professional career as a management consultant at Bain & Company after earning a degree in Finance and Economics & Strategy from Washington University in St. Louis. Recognized on GrowthCap's Top Software Investors lists in both 2024 and 2025, he has directed capital into at least seven notable portfolio companies, including AppViewX, Paradox, Posit, Red Rover, Orca AI, and LucidLink. Kentor currently focuses his venture capital practice on executing growth-stage investments and partnering strategically with founder-led enterprise software businesses.
