Salomon Serfati

Salomon Serfati currently serves as the CEO and CTO of Chariot, an early-stage technology startup. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, he earned a computer science degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was recognized as a President Innovation Prize finalist. At the age of eighteen, Serfati developed a roommate-matching application that acquired over 5,000 users within two months at zero customer acquisition cost, while managing a team of five interns and more than 50 brand ambassadors. Following his early entrepreneurial work, he joined BlackRock as a backend engineer to focus on building financial services infrastructure. He subsequently operated as a founding engineer at Forage, a startup that participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2021 cohort. Serfati's professional background centers on backend engineering, technical leadership, and early-stage product development within the financial technology and SaaS sectors.
