Sally Donnelly is a Founding Partner at Pallas Ventures, a Washington private investment fund focused on bridging the defense enterprise and private sector innovation by growing dual use technology companies. She previously served as Senior Advisor to Secretary of Defense James Mattis starting in 2017, following roles as Director of the Washington Office for the US Central Command Commander and Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Before her government service, Donnelly spent over 20 years at Time Magazine and later founded her own consulting firm advising clients on strategy, communications, and policy. She earned a masters degree from the London School of Economics and a BA from Hollins College. Additionally, she serves as a nonresident senior fellow at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and sits on the Leadership Council for the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
