Sagar Malhi

Sagar Malhi is a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund and an active angel investor who provides capital to early-stage technology companies. Before transitioning into venture capital, he began his professional career holding technical roles, serving as an Embedded Systems Hardware Engineer at Intel and later as a Software Engineer at Apple. Following his tenure in big tech, Malhi shifted toward entrepreneurship and co-founded Switchboard, a technology startup that participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2019 batch. He subsequently expanded his operational expertise by leading product management and growth initiatives at Juniper Creates, building upon his academic foundation from the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia. Today, his primary focus remains on utilizing his extensive background in hardware engineering, software development, and startup operations to identify, fund, and support emerging early-stage technology ventures.
