Saeid Esmaeilzadeh is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Serendipity Group and the Chairman of Exeger Sweden AB, based in Stockholm, Sweden. He holds a PhD in Materials Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and previously served as the Chief Technology Officer at Polar Night Energy. Through the Serendipity Group holding company, he manages an investment portfolio of more than 20 deep tech enterprises focused on advanced manufacturing and energy technologies. At Exeger, which has secured over $50 million in venture funding, he oversees the commercialization of patented solar cell technology, recently resulting in a 2024 product partnership with Nike. Appointed to the advisory board of a European deep tech accelerator in 2025, his current professional focus remains on bridging academia and industry by scaling cleantech, advanced materials, and thermal energy storage innovations.
