Sachin Agarwal is the Co-founder, Director, and Board Member of GrowSF, a civic organization based in San Francisco, California. Prior to transitioning to full-time civic work in 2020, he accumulated nearly 20 years of professional experience in the technology sector, beginning his career as an Engineer at Apple. He subsequently co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of the venture-backed blogging platform Posterous, managing the startup's operations until it was acquired by Twitter. Following this acquisition, Agarwal worked as a Product Manager at Twitter, overseeing consumer initiatives including photos, profiles, and direct messages, before eventually managing social impact projects at Lyft. At present, his primary professional focus centers on urban policy and civic improvement initiatives aimed at revitalizing San Francisco after spending two decades building consumer products in the local technology industry.
