Sacha Servan-Schreiber

Sacha Servan-Schreiber is the Co-founder of Tinfoil, a privacy technology startup, and is currently based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He established the secure digital communications software company in 2023 while concurrently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). As an active researcher within MIT CSAIL, he primarily investigates complex applied cryptography, secure systems architecture, and the practical implementation of zero-knowledge proofs. His technical research in these specialized fields has been featured in prominent academic venues, including peer-reviewed publications presented at the annual Crypto 2024 conference. Prior to launching his entrepreneurial venture, he dedicated his early academic career to advancing theoretical frameworks for data protection and secure digital infrastructure. Servan-Schreiber currently focuses on bridging advanced cryptographic research with commercial applications to develop scalable privacy-enhancing technologies for secure communication tools.
