Saar Gur

Saar Gur is a General Partner at CRV based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on seed and Series A investments in enterprise software and developer tools. Before joining the venture capital firm, he spent five years as a Product Manager at Google working on search and advertising products. As a managing partner overseeing CRV's funds exceeding $500 million, Gur has built a portfolio of more than 50 companies, including an early investment in Sumo Logic, which completed its initial public offering in 2019. He recently led a $50 million Series B funding round for the data security platform Metomic in late 2024 and authored a 2018 book on startup fundraising. Holding a computer science degree from Tel Aviv University, Gur centers his investment strategy on scalable B2B platforms, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and cybersecurity startups.
