Saad Rizvi

Saad Rizvi is a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund based in San Francisco, California. In this role, he sources and invests in pre-seed and seed-stage global startups, having backed more than 50 companies through the firm's accelerator program. His investment portfolio includes emerging technology companies such as Ambient.ai and Mach, and he recently participated in the Pioneer accelerator Batch 22 funding round in early 2026. Prior to his transition into venture capital, Rizvi contributed to product and growth initiatives at the financial technology and cryptocurrency infrastructure startup Basic Block, following earlier roles in software engineering.
