Ryosuke Kajitani

Ryosuke Kajitani is the Co-CEO and General Partner at NOW, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Tokyo, Japan. He co-founded the investment firm in 2017 alongside serial entrepreneur Kazuma Ieiri, subsequently growing the operation to manage three distinct funds with a five-person staff. Under his strategic direction, the firm has successfully secured limited partner capital commitments from prominent Japanese financial institutions, including SBI Shinsei Bank, Daiwa Securities Group, and SMBC Nikko Securities. Demonstrating his active deal involvement, Kajitani recently led a ¥120 million pre-Series A funding round for LUC Inc. in December 2025, co-investing alongside Mizuho Capital. Leveraging his extensive background as a former chief financial officer and his experience providing initial public offering support at prior securities companies, he currently focuses on seed-stage technology startups, impact investing, human resources platforms, and consumer applications.
