Ryosuke Hayashi

Ryosuke Hayashi is the Executive Director of Overseas Business and Head of the International Business Division at SBI Holdings, based in Singapore. Before assuming his current position, he spent nine years from 2015 to 2024 as the CEO and Managing Director of SBI Ven Capital, where he directed regional investment strategies and launched new venture capital funds. He originally joined the financial services conglomerate in 2009 as the founding Managing Director of Wall Street Journal Japan, later serving as a Director at YAR Bank LLC between 2012 and 2015. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Law from the University of Tokyo and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD. Hayashi currently focuses on driving international expansion and managing private equity, fintech, and digital asset investments across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the EMEA regions.
