Ryan Zarick

Ryan Zarick is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of LayerZero Labs, a blockchain interoperability platform he helped launch in February 2021. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2009 and a Master of Science from the University of New Hampshire, where he initially co-founded the software consulting firm Coder Den. Zarick previously served as the Chief Technology Officer of the fantasy sports platform Buzzdraft until March 2013 and co-founded the smart contract auditing firm 80Trill, where he worked until March 2020. Additionally, he co-founded the technology startup Minimal AI and led the technical development of the LayerZero protocol alongside the Stargate asset bridge to address flaws in existing systems. His current focus centers on advancing cross-chain protocols and building secure infrastructure for seamless decentralized applications operating across multiple blockchain networks.
