Ryan Xue

Ryan Xue is the co-founder and CEO of Layup, an artificial intelligence software startup based in New York City, New York. Before establishing the company in 2022, he earned an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and held professional consulting and operations roles at Google, McKinsey & Company, and Origin. Under his leadership, Layup participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2023 cohort and officially launched its public platform on December 5, 2024. The startup develops AI-driven in-product guidance and digital adoption tools that integrate with more than 170 different third-party applications. Xue has guided the firm to attract inbound commercial interest ranging from early-stage technology seed startups to Fortune 50 global enterprise organizations. His current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to automate software workflows and resolve complex user onboarding challenges across various enterprise platforms.
