Ryan Sommerville

Ryan Sommerville is a General Partner at the venture capital firm Antler US, operating primarily out of New York and Austin, where he directs early-stage technology investments. As the initial hire for the organization's United States expansion approximately four years ago, he played a foundational role in establishing its domestic presence across major tech hubs and previously oversaw portfolio companies as the Head of Portfolio. Before his tenure at Antler, Sommerville built and scaled multiple independent ventures operating within the financial services, consumer apparel, and enterprise technology sectors. Additionally, he served as the Director of Financial Programs at Start Small Think Big, a nonprofit institution focused on corporate financial literacy and early entrepreneurship. Today, Sommerville leverages his diverse operational background to focus on institutional investment strategy and portfolio management for emerging startups across the United States.
