Ryan Piela

Ryan Piela is a venture capital professional and corporate innovation strategist who most recently served as the Executive Director of New Incubation Ventures at The Estée Lauder Companies. As a founding team member of this corporate venture arm, he spent nearly five years building and executing early-stage investment strategies focused on emerging beauty brands and novel consumer business models. Prior to this extensive tenure, Piela worked as an Associate Director at XRC Ventures, where he specialized in corporate innovation, founder support, and early-stage ecosystem development. He holds a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern, graduating in the class of 2018, and has conducted international market research across Europe, India, and Latin America. Piela's professional background remains centered on bridging corporate venture capital with incubation strategy to scale early-stage consumer and beauty enterprises globally.
