Ryan Mets

Ryan Mets is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Boardcave, a global surf and lifestyle retail marketplace, and he currently splits his time between the Gold Coast of Australia and California. Before launching his current venture in 2012, he focused on user growth and digital marketing for major travel platforms, helping to scale Wotif.com prior to its successful acquisition by Expedia. Mets also developed Cavewire, a specialized supply chain software platform that has processed over $190 million in gross merchandise value for the sporting goods industry. His broader entrepreneurial track record includes founding his first international company in Indonesia at age seventeen and participating in the Y Combinator Winter 2022 accelerator cohort. Mets currently focuses on expanding Boardcave's international e-commerce operations while leveraging the Cavewire API to optimize supply chain logistics for sports technology brands.
