Ryan Melhon

Ryan Melohn is the Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and Chief Operating Officer at Expansion Venture Capital, an early-stage investment firm based in New York City. In addition to his venture capital responsibilities, he serves as Vice President and Property Manager at Expansion Group Inc., where he oversees extensive residential and commercial real estate operations. Recognized on the 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 list, Melohn has helped direct more than 100 startup investments alongside his brother and co-founder, Joseph Melohn. His firm has built a diverse portfolio featuring prominent technology and consumer companies, including early stakes in Postmates, Carta, Lemonade, The RealReal, and Allbirds. Melohn currently focuses on executing strategic initiatives, driving business development, and providing pre-seed, seed, and Series A funding to founders across the fintech, proptech, climate tech, and digital health sectors.
