Ryan Jacoby

Ryan Jacoby is a General Partner at Khosla Ventures based in San Francisco, California, United States. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, which preceded his early career as an engineer at Palantir and a Product Manager at Google from 2015 to 2019. Since joining Khosla Ventures as a General Partner in January 2023, Jacoby has managed over $1 billion in committed capital across multiple funds and executed more than 20 early-stage investments. His investment portfolio includes notable liquidity events such as the 2020 initial public offering of DoorDash, and he recently led the Series A funding round for the artificial intelligence coding platform Cursor in March 2024. Today, Jacoby focuses on backing technical founders across the AI, enterprise software, climate, and deep technology sectors.
