Ryan Holmes

Ryan Holmes is the Co-founder and General Partner at LOI Venture, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prior to transitioning into venture capital, he founded Hootsuite in 2008 out of his digital agency Invoke Media, serving as Chief Executive Officer for over a decade while scaling the platform to 18 million users and exceeding $200 million in annual recurring revenue. In 2017, he established the League of Innovators, a national Canadian charity that has supported thousands of youth entrepreneurs through educational programs and mentorship. Through LOI Venture, Holmes currently manages a $20 million fund dedicated to providing pre-seed and seed-stage capital to founders under the age of thirty. His professional focus centers on leveraging his operational experience in scaling global software enterprises to identify and accelerate young technology founders.
