Ryan Freedman

Ryan Freedman is the Managing Partner at 4Degrees Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Miami, Florida. Assuming this leadership role in January 2024, he directs investments across the proptech and climate tech sectors, recently leading a $15 million Series A funding round for an urban technology startup. Previously, Freedman served as a Partner at Fifth Wall from 2019 to 2023, where he managed over $500 million in capital allocations across a portfolio of more than 40 technology companies. His earlier career includes traditional property and investment roles at Prologis and Kayne Anderson Real Estate, following his graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Today, Freedman leverages his institutional property expertise to bridge traditional real estate markets with emerging artificial intelligence and urban innovation technologies.
