Ryan Floyd

Ryan Floyd is a Co-Founding Managing Director at Storm Ventures, a specialized early-stage venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. Prior to his career in venture capital, he co-founded Extensity, a corporate expense management software company that successfully completed an initial public offering in 2000 before being acquired by Geac Computer Corporation for a reported $46 million. He completed his higher education at Stanford University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Earth Systems. Throughout his tenure at Storm Ventures, Floyd has directed investments into numerous enterprise technology startups, holding strategic board positions at prominent companies such as Talkdesk, Engagio, and NextDocs. His current investment focus centers on business-to-business software-as-a-service platforms, guiding startup founders through the critical early stages of go-to-market strategy and operational scaling.
