Ryan Falvey

Ryan Falvey is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Restive Ventures, an early-stage financial technology venture capital firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2015, he has directed investments into 40 early-stage fintech companies that have secured over $500 million in follow-on capital and represent approximately $3 billion in aggregate equity value. Before launching his current fund in 2018, Falvey led the development of the Financial Solutions Lab in partnership with JPMorgan Chase and created commercial payment solutions at Silicon Valley Bank. Earlier in his career, he served as Strategy Group Lead at Enclude Solutions, and holds a Master of Arts from Yale University and an undergraduate degree from UCLA. His current investment strategy focuses on deploying $50,000 to $2.5 million in pre-seed capital to founders building regulation-ready fintech infrastructure, backend tooling, and embedded finance platforms.
