Ryan Bednar

Ryan Bednar is the General Partner at Orange Collective, an investment fund exclusively targeting early-stage startups emerging from Y Combinator. Previously, he served as the CEO of RankScience and co-founded Tutorspree, participating in the accelerator's programs in 2017 and 2011. Bednar began his professional career as the first employee at SeatGeek and later leveraged his expertise in search engine optimization to scale growth for prominent technology companies, including Calm and Zapier. As an angel investor, he has backed more than 12 early-stage companies since 2018, while his current fund is supported by over 150 Y Combinator alumni who have collectively invested in more than 200 startups like Vanta. His current focus centers on identifying and funding high-growth software ventures within the Y Combinator ecosystem while utilizing his technical engineering background to support new portfolio founders.
