Rushil Srivastava

Rushil Srivastava is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Simplify, an AI-powered job search platform based in San Francisco. Backed by Y Combinator and Craft Ventures, the company participated in the W21 batch and has scaled to one million total users with 350,000 monthly active users. Prior to founding Simplify, Srivastava studied computer science at UC Berkeley before dropping out to focus entirely on building the startup. During high school, he published computer vision research in dermatology at Stanford University and developed automation software that processed over $10 million in fashion and collectible resale transactions. He additionally reverse-engineered a popular online game, scaling an independent server to one million players before facing corporate legal action. His current focus centers on developing artificial intelligence infrastructure to streamline the hiring process and optimize job application workflows.
