Rune Hauge

Rune Hauge is the co-founder and CEO of Mentorcam, a technology platform connecting users to mentors for personalized advice, and is currently based in Los Angeles, USA. Originally from Norway, he is a serial entrepreneur with over ten years of professional experience building and scaling early-stage companies. Prior to launching Mentorcam, Hauge founded three distinct startups, including the consumer apparel brand Hardhaus, which ultimately resulted in a successful corporate acquisition. He completed his formal business education at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and Duke University. Under his leadership, Mentorcam participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch and raised a $4 million venture funding round backed by General Catalyst, Goodwater Capital, and various angel investors. Hauge maintains a primary professional focus on developing marketplace platforms that foster entrepreneurship, business growth, and accessible mentorship.
