Rujul Zaparde is the Co-Founder and CEO of Zip, a financial technology platform serving startups and small businesses, based in San Francisco, California. Under his leadership, Zip has processed over $1 billion in payments for thousands of corporate clients and successfully secured a Series B funding round in early 2025 to expand its AI-powered expense management tools. Previously, Zaparde served as the Co-Founder and CEO of FlightCar, a peer-to-peer car-sharing marketplace that raised more than $40 million in venture capital before being acquired by Mercedes-Benz in 2015.
