Rui Zhang

Rui Zhang is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at gumi Cryptos Capital, where he focuses on early-stage blockchain and cryptocurrency investments. Since co-founding the venture firm in early 2018, he has backed prominent digital asset platforms including OpenSea, 1Inch, and Theta Network, while also helping launch the $110 million gCC Fund II. Previously, Zhang led global investments across the gaming, social media, and virtual reality sectors for gumi Group. His prior investment portfolio generated notable industry exits, including the acquisition of inXile by Microsoft and the purchase of Beat Games by Facebook.
