Roy Bar-Kat

Roy Bar-Kat is the Managing Director at Intel Capital, where he oversees the firm's early-stage venture capital investment activities in Israel. Before joining Intel Capital, he served as a Principal at Genesis Partners and worked as a Vice President at Incentive-Peregrine VC. His earlier career includes investment roles at the US-based Liberty Technology VC, and he holds a Master of Business Administration from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Haifa. In his current capacity, Bar-Kat manages a diverse portfolio and holds board director or observer seats at nine technology startups, including Anodot, DustPhotonics, Lightbits, and Neuroblade. He recently led a Series A investment in Xyte and directed new funding toward Voyantis, reflecting his ongoing focus on early-stage investments across data platforms, cybersecurity, and mobility.
