Rouven Dresselhaus

Rouven Dresselhaus is a private investor and the co-founder of Cavalry Ventures based in Berlin, Germany. He began his professional career in financial risk management at KPMG before establishing the Berlin outpost for Capnamic Ventures in 2012. During his tenure as Managing Partner at Cavalry Ventures, which he stepped down from in 2023, the early-stage venture fund grew to manage over €260 million in assets across a portfolio of more than 50 companies. Across his private and fund activities, Dresselhaus has backed over 35 startups, including notable early investments in technology companies like Forto and McMakler, generating more than $1.5 billion in estimated shareholder value. Equipped with master's degrees in both business administration and finance, Dresselhaus currently focuses on supporting European pre-seed and seed-stage digital economy startups as an independent advisor and active angel investor.
