Roshan Kumaraswamy

Roshan Kumaraswamy is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Apten, an AI-powered sales automation startup based in San Francisco, California. He currently leads technical development for the three-person company, which recently participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 startup cohort. Prior to co-founding Apten, Kumaraswamy spent three years at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he built enterprise sales planning applications and data platforms specifically designed for the internal AWS Sales organization. Earlier in his career, he worked as an early intern at InfluxData to build multi-data source capabilities for the Flux programming language, and he studied electrical engineering and computer sciences at UC Berkeley for three years. His professional background combines deep technical expertise in data infrastructure with a current focus on developing omnichannel AI agents that automate enterprise lead conversion across multiple communication channels.
