Roop Pal

Roop Pal is the Co-Founder of Bild AI and is currently based in Okotoks, Alberta, United States. He leads a construction-technology platform that automates blueprint reading and material takeoffs, backed by early investors from PlanGrid, Dropbox, and Airbnb. Previously, Pal spent five years building machine learning capabilities at Google and Waymo, developing traffic-light models and novel 3D pointcloud classification systems. He also co-founded and bootstrapped Truce, a logistics software startup known as FreightGPT, successfully leading the company to an acquisition. Pal holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bard College at Simon's Rock with a 3.81 GPA. His eight-year engineering career focuses on translating advanced computer vision and robotics research into production-ready artificial intelligence systems for the construction and logistics sectors.
